Our magnetic foils are perfectly suited as a printing medium. The permanent magnetic foils adhere to all ferrous substrates, our FERRObase products and can be changed quickly and easily. With strong partners from the printing industry, we accompany your project from the very beginning and plot the printed magnetic foil into any desired shape.

Our versatile material selection allows the use of everything from simple shelf labels to photo-realistic prints. Decisive for the quality of the printed image is not only the printing machine and the printing technique but also the surface used. Our PET and PVC coated magnetic foils can basically be printed using screen and digital printing as well as other printing methods.

Certified magnet foils
Our magnetic foils have a protective coating on the magnetic side to protect the substrate and are largely resistant to solvents, acids and alkalis. The foils can be used without hesitation for the production of children's toys and play articles of all kinds as well as for didactic teaching material.
In order to exclude health risks as far as possible, we have our magnetic foils tested for skin irritations by the Fresenius Institute at certain intervals. Our products are REACH & RoHS certified.
Physical characteristics
The films can be used from approx. -5°C (anisotropic magnetic films from approx. -20°C) to +55°C and can also be exposed to higher temperatures for short periods. In this case, however, the possibility of use should be checked in advance in consultation with us.
Our permanent magnet foils are extruded or calendered from a flexible plastic and a barium and/or strontium ferrite using thermoplastic binders. They adhere to all ferrous substrates as well as FERRO products from our portfolio.
