Quality since 1972
With passion
and highest standards
Haas & Co. Magnettechnik GmbH works constantly to achieve the best possible quality in development, production & service work and thus to qualify itself permanently as a reliable and efficient partner for customers and suppliers. All products and services are tailored exactly to the individual needs and should result in the greatest possible benefit in the specific field of application.
The company stands for cooperation in a spirit of partnership and the greatest possible responsibility towards people and the environment. Haas Magnettechnik assumes this responsibility as far as possible along the entire value chain.
Upstream, in the supply chain, this means in particular demanding and checking our own social, environmental, safety and labor standards from suppliers and working proactively to improve them. Downstream, this means refraining from customer relationships that obviously do not share the company's values. Locally in Wiesbaden, the company is also committed to social and societal issues. .
Within the scope of economic and technical possibilities, energy consumption and the use of materials in the office and production are reduced to a minimum. In addition, the emission data of all relevant products are collected and a certified CO2e compensation is offered. Based on the demand for quality and the responsibility towards people and the environment, the goal is to manufacture high-quality products in a sustainable working and production environment. In doing so, the company follows the basic principle of continuous improvement of internal processes as well as consistent training and further education of employees.
Beyond these goals, innovation, tolerance and a constructive error culture ensure the economic success of Haas Magnettechnik.
Commitment since 2012
Our commitment
- Your advantage
The terms sustainability and CSR (Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility) are certainly not new to you. After all, CSR has been an increasingly important strategic issue for large and small companies for years.
This also includes protecting environmental and human rights along the supply chain as best as possible. Depending on the industry, this is not always easy. We, too, rely on raw materials from countries where violations of environmental regulations or human rights occur. It is not always possible to completely avoid these violations - we have no external influence on some raw material suppliers and processing plants. Here, we can only report on grievances as transparently as possible. With our direct suppliers, on the other hand, we can and do take action - this is where we start to successively improve conditions.
Some companies are also fulfilling this responsibility, while others are still turning a blind eye.
This is set to change now, as a Supply Chain Act will be passed in Germany before the federal election to offer people and the environment more protection in the global economy. From 2023, it will initially apply to companies with 3,000 or more employees, and from 2024 it will also apply to companies with 1,000 or more employees.
Affects us all!
The supply chain due diligence act (LKsG) was passed on July 22, 2021.
Since every company is part of a supply chain, the law will eventually also indirectly affect small and medium-sized enterprises. In a press release of the HIHK from 12.Februar 2021 it says:
The law will not apply until 2023 and will initially only cover larger companies. However, it is clear that the obligations will be passed on very quickly and consistently to smaller companies as well.
This is also evident in a newly published study by the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
"Although the GDDL only applies to MNCs with more than 1000 or 3000 employees, the study finds that almost all SMEs anticipate that they will be indirectly impacted by the regulation. Subsequently, many are working on a compliance strategy."
Participating companies therefore clearly perceive the influence of the Supply Chain Act on their business activities. Your benefit from our commitment: a clean supply chain and credible reports for your customers. We will be happy to provide you with concrete examples and further information in a personal meeting.
