HMT Magnet GmbH & Co. KG successfully took over the business operations of Haas & Co. Magnettechnik GmbH as part of an asset deal on 1 October 2023.
This step was taken with the clear aim of making the "Haas" brand the first point of contact again for all matters relating to magnetic technology. Haas & Co. Magnettechnik GmbH filed for insolvency on 18 July 2023.

Haas Magnettechnik, a brand of HMT Magnet GmbH & Co. KG, is a medium-sized family business based in Wiesbaden and has specialised for over 50 years in the trade, packaging and finishing of high-quality magnetic foils for various applications in different industries.

HMT Magnet GmbH & Co. KG is a new name in the magnet industry, but is managed by an experienced management team that is part of the management of SPRINTIS Schenk GmbH & Co. KG (a financially strong e-commerce company with a turnover of over €30 million). The close connection between the two companies is due to their corporate structure: HMT Magnet GmbH & Co. KG is the sister company of SPRINTIS.

The collaboration enables optimal synergy within the industry. While SPRINTIS Schenk GmbH & Co. KG specialises in the distribution of products in the printing and advertising sector, HMT Magnet focuses on high-quality magnetic solutions for a wide range of applications and the trade in magnetic foils, magnetic tapes and related permanent magnetic products. The two companies not only have the same management, but also the common goal of offering their customers a wide range of products and the best possible service.

The existing production facilities and capacities remain unchanged. All aspects of the production infrastructure, including the experienced team and technical expertise, will remain at the Wiesbaden site. The familiar email addresses and telephone numbers for sales and customer service will remain available and accessible. This will enable the continuation of a wide product range and ensure a continuous supply to customers. The purchasing and logistics departments will be taken over by SPRINTIS.
